Five studios. One performance space. An international teaching team. And a lot of people who really like to dance. We hold a simple belief: that dance belongs to everyone, at every age and every level.
Tanzhaus Luzern is one of Central Switzerland's largest dance schools — but we don't think bigger is the important part. What matters is what happens inside the studio.
Long before Tanzhaus Luzern existed, people were already dancing here. The space has been home to dance studios since the 1980s, with different schools, teachers and generations of dancers shaping its story over the years. In 2023, The Dance Center closed its doors. Rather than letting this much-loved space fall silent, Tanzhaus Luzern was founded, and a new chapter began.
Today, we continue the space's long history while looking towards the future. Tanzhaus Luzern brings together dancers of all ages and ambitions — from first steps and weekly hobby classes to pre-professional training. The names have changed. The studios have evolved. But one thing has remained the same: this house is a space for dance.

Olivia Lecomte
founder, managing director & teacher
Ballet, Contemporary, & Repertoire
After training at Canada’s National Ballet School and Codarts University of the Arts (BA Dance Performance), Olivia began her professional stage career dancing for the Tanz Luzerner Theater. She then freelanced for renowned companies in Europe and has been teaching in Luzern since 2017.
Alexandra studied dance at the Vaganova Academy in Bulgaria and later in Switzerland before going on to dance professionally for many European companies. Parallel to her stage career, Alexandra earned a master’s degree in ballet education and directing.
Andrea Günthör

Originally from Lucerne Andrea has an extensive dance education which include The Royal Academy of Dancing, London and the Ballettberufsschule, Zürich. As a dancer she has performed with some of the major Swiss dance institutions such as Stadttheater Bern, Luzerner Theater, Theater St.Gallen, amongst others. Also passionate about teaching she has taught in Zurich and Luzern and since 2021 she is part of the Tanzhaus Luzern staff. She is also a certified trainer in Alexander Technik, Pilates and Yoga Teacher, Level I.
Aurora Andreeva-Bobbià

Aurora trained as a dancer both at the Vaganova Academy in Bulgaria and later in Switzerland before performing with Valery Panov’s Ballet Theatre. She then earned a BA in Philosophy with a specialization in Dance as well as an MA in Choreography and Stage Direction in her native Bulgaria.

After training at George Balanchine's School of American Ballet in New York City, Linda danced professionally in established companies across the USA and Switzerland. With over 40 years of teaching experience, students appreciate her humor and passion for ballet.

Linda Magnifico is a choreographer and former professional dancer from Catania, Italy. She has trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and improvisation. Linda has danced professionally for various companies and projects and has won several choreographic awards. She is currently working as a guest dance teacher and is the president of IG Tanz Zentralschweiz.
Myrta Maria Müller

A Lucerne native, Myrta is both an American Ballet Theater certified teacher and a dance therapist with a specialization in developmental psychology, choreography, improvisation, and trance dance. She has over 30 years experience teaching children of all ages.

Throughout her career, Kathleen has worked as a dancer, teacher, ballet mistress, director, and jury member in professional institutions in Switzerland and the EU. She is currently the president of Danse Suisse and a pedagogical consultant for Tanzhaus Luzern.
