House Rules

The Tanzhaus Luzern house rules are binding for all persons working or using the premises of Tanzhaus Luzern.

  • The management of Tanzhaus Luzern attaches great importance to ensuring that all courses offered are taught professionally, in an age-appropriate manner and in accordance with health and safety regulations. The management of the Tanzhaus Luzern reserves the right to occasionally visit the courses taking place on its premises.
  • The person responsible for the respective courses is responsible for supervising their participants, especially children and minors. This obligation exists for the entire duration of the stay at the Tanzhaus Luzern.
  • The course leader is informed about the safety information posted on each floor. They know the emergency numbers and measures and can evacuate participants via the emergency exits.
  • The goods lift may not be used by course participants. Course leaders may use it by arrangement for transporting materials that cannot be transported via the passenger lift.
  • The dance studios may only be entered with suitable shoes appropriate to the course.
  • To avoid damage and soiling of the special dance carpets, the rooms equipped with them, currently Studios 1, 4 and 5, may not be entered with street shoes.
  • The course leaders are requested to adjust the volume in the sense of mutual consideration. The windows to the inhabited neighbourhood are to be kept closed after 22:00.
  • Bringing food into the studios is not permitted.
  • During operating hours, the premises are generally accessible. Valuables are to be carried or supervised. Tanzhaus Luzern is not liable for the loss of valuables.
  • At the end of the classes, the rooms used must be briefly aired out. Before leaving the Tanzhaus Luzern, the course leader has to make sure that the windows are closed again (during the heating period) or tilted.
  • Separate regulations apply to the use of the bar.
  • The common areas with WLAN access are available to course participants before and after the courses.
  • The course leader of the day's last class is responsible for ensuring that the access doors to floors 3 and 5 are properly locked and that no one is left on the Tanzhaus Luzern premises.
  • There are no parking spaces available, the public car parks or parking areas are to be used.
